A Dove in Flight

From Inspiration to Creation

For aeons, animals have lived under a living moon. They saw its fires and saw it go from grey to red. When man came, many hypothesized about it: some looked up and thought they saw a reflection of the earth on the great dark ocean in the sky, others thought they saw the lands of the gods.

In 1864, leaps and bounds were made in the progression of technology. Many of the empires of the time focused on expanding their knowledge on communication, sociology, and the stars.

The colonisation of the moon began in 1919, and by 2042 the lunar population had reached 314 million people. 2127 marked the first year in which the lunar population exceeded a billion, and in 2161 the second billion was reached.
